How vexing. Sam and Gabe had to squeeze into mpd57's stinky ol' bathtub, but Mr. Hoity Toity Steve Steiner gets to put up his feet in the swanky drawing room and smoke cee-gars with his Perridge-ness. It just ain't right, I tells ya!

Behind the Pink - the story continues

Monday Monday! Say it two times and click your bunny-hop heels together 'cause it's time for this big pink rollercoaster to kick into high gear and take it all the way home.
Yes, indeedy, we're heading for a big-time Hamtown dust-up this week over on Zuda, so strap in and get ready to rumble.
But for now, let's once more take a look back at the behind-the-scenes production of some carnage that were.
As you may recall, it all starts with the lackadaisacal layouts:
Then moves on to the action-packed pencils:
Then splashed by the inkiest of inks:

ComiCon HammerPix

Hamtown's own Gabe Ostley made the big trip from Hong Kong to San Diego for the Comicon Extravaganza and brought back tales of joy and terror. Thanks from Gabe to all who stopped by the DC booth to say howdy!
Here's some photographic proof of Gabe's devastating good lucks and questionable taste in haberdashery!
Huh. Apparently Gabe is married to Batgirl. Who knew?
Fear and Loathing in San Diego.
Gabe sketches 'til his fingers bleed while those slackers Dave Gallaher and Steve Ellis send each other text messages. Go give those layabouts what for on the High Moon talkback!
Gabe shamelessly swipes all his "original" sketches from Dan Govar. Did you know Azure Season One is about to reach it's soggy climax? Get it while it's still dripping wet!
Here's Dan getting ready to eject an unruly Gabe from the premises. Look at those crazy eyes. Ostley is not to be trusted!
Here's Gabe wearing his hat. INDOORS! The boy is like school in summertime. No class.
Gabe's Girl Wonder socks it to Peter and Bobby Timony while Govar looks on helplessly. Say, have you checked out The Night Owls lately? Roscoe's in peril! Hurry before it's too late!
Here's Gabe, mere moments before plunging to his doom in the Grand Canyon. Huh. Didn't realize that was in San Diego...
Anyhoo, as you can see, a good time was had by all. Or a good time was had by Gabe, at least.

Ah, loyal hammerheads! The blog, it has lain fallow for too long!
But now we're back in action with more of the nuts and bolts behind the big bad bunny.
Page 35 is one of our favorites. This is the image that's kind of the crux of the whole dinglydoodle.
So without further ado, the layouts:
